Open manhole in middle of pedestrian walkway
A missing manhole cover on a busy street is a fatal trap waiting to happen.

The manhole cover outside the main supermarket has been missing since yesterday's heavy rains. People are barely noticing it as they walk by, and someone could easily fall in.
We have temporarily placed a branch in it, but the municipality needs to replace the cover immediately.
